Abstract

¼Ò¾Æ ȯÀÚ°¡ Ä¡°ú Áø·á½Ç¿¡¼­ ´À³¢´Â ºÒ¾È°¨°ú °øÆ÷¿¡ ÀÇÇØ ¹ß»ýÇÏ´Â ½ºÆ®·¹½º¸¦ ÃøÁ¤Çϱâ À§ÇÑ ´Ù¾çÇÑ ¹æ¹ýÀÌ ÀÖ´Ù. There are several ways to analyse stress resulting from anxiety and fear within dental treatment for children. Surveying questionnaires and monitoring biologic reaction are the most common ways for evaluating stress. Pulse oximeter is a popular device for detecting heart rate but not appropriate for moving children. In this study, we compared a recently introduced wrist- watch type heart rate monitor(Alpha, MIO, USA) with a pulse oximeter(MP110, MECKIS, Republic of Korea) for 10 attendants with two conditions including resting state and excited state after exercise. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank test and there is no statistical difference between two devices(p < 0.05).
